Dare to be broken
DARE TO BE…
Today I dare you to be broken.
I dare you to acknowledge that there are things beyond your control and that is okay.
God has a plan for you.
People say to me, but this is just who I am, it’s my nature. I cannot change.
I’ve said this…
The truth is, we cannot change our nature without the help of the creator. If you and I are willing to look to Him as our Heavenly Father and trust His process we can and WILL change.
The hardest thing for me to understand was the FACT that God loves me for who I am. I grew up in a home where my step-father said I would never be anything and my Momma made me feel like I was perfect.
This contrast caused a lot of confusion. How can I be nothing and everything at the same time?
Truth is, I couldn’t.
I became a walking lie.
I couldn’t be myself.
I didn’t even know who I was.
The first step to healing is knowing that you are broken. Know that even in your brokenness God loves you. Nothing you do will ever surprise God.
Psalm 139:1-5 (MEV) says:
O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far off. You search my path and my lying down and are aware of all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O LORD, You know it fully. You put Yourself behind and before me, and keep Your hand on me.
You don’t have to continue to try to be something–someone–you are not.
The time has come to let the mask fall and be yourself! You, my sweet friend, are precious and unique. Let God show you that everything you’ve been through has brought you this moment to share your struggles, your pain, and your healing!
Ask God to exchange beauty for the ashes of your broken life! Claim His promises today!
I would like to invite you to a Free Facebook group called Dare to Be with Dianna Sandora. I have the privilege of being a hostess on 7/30 for the Dare to Be home party with Charlotte Gambill and Natalie Grant. You can go here to join https://www.facebook.com/groups/DareToBewithDiannaSandora
I decided to do this as a Facebook party as I feel this is a great way for you and me to meet virtually. Over the next 5 days, we will be able to grow together!
I hope to see you there!
