Dare to Live
Have you noticed time seems to move so much quicker as you get older? It seems like it was only yesterday we were celebrating the beginning of 2019 and now 2020 is right around the corner.
So, what is it gets you out of bed in the morning?
It is this hope that there is more than just the daily grind keeps me moving forward.
I’ve always known I was created for more in my heart of hearts, but unfortunately, I tend to ignore that fact as it is a lot of work.
Marshall Goldsmith wrote a book, I highly recommend called, What Got You Here Won’t Get You There: How Successful People Become Even More Successful. In it, Goldsmith examines the things you and I must do to reach the next level in our lives. Life is truly a journey and if you have a destination in mind, there is no reason why you cannot get there as long as you have the correct tools and the will to continue moving toward the destination.
Imagine trying to get to Hawaii in a car…
Not gonna happen.
You can have your car shipped there and have it to drive upon arrival, but it will have to be via the shipyard.
I believe your willingness AND your ability to continue to move forward in life is the key to “truly living.”
I also believe if we are sensitive to God, He will help us to find our purpose.
I don’t know about you, but I want to live a life that matters. One that makes a difference in both the lives of others and in me. I want to continue to grow personally and spiritually so I can, in turn, help others do the same.
One of the things I get so tangled up in is trying to figure it all out on my own. I firmly believe God loves mysteries and recommend looking at life as a treasure hunt. My Momma used to always tell me that I could find The Lord in everything, I just had to look for it!
John 1:3–4 (MSG), reminds us, “Everything was created through Him; nothing—not one thing—came into being without Him. What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by.”
If you truly want to know how to live the answer is clear! Seek God first! (Matthew 6:33)
I’d like to invite you to my free Facebook group, Dare to Be You with Dianna Sandora. There is even a free mentoring program! http://bit.ly/Dare2BeU
