Give yourself permission to be you.
I heard that Marilyn Monroe was once asked to share who she was and her reply was something along the lines of, “Who do you want me to be?”
I’ve spent a lifetime trying to be who and what others wanted. For the first eighteen years of my life, I was Momma’s daughter, then for the next eighteen I was “the wife.”
I’ve spent the last ten years, since my divorce, trying to figure out who I am and wondering if it is “okay” to be the person I dream of becoming.
The person I believe God created me to be…
It is a struggle every day.
As you may know, I am trying to grow a network marketing business. This REQUIRES me to step out in a BIG way.
I have to share the love of my product and my business, but I am afraid you might see me as
So I hesitate…
If I see you as someone I’d love to partner
So I hesitate…
I long to have close girlfriends to hang out with and do things with, but what if I allow someone
So I hesitate…
I want to have a godly man in my life, someone to love and be loved, but what if he doesn’t like the “real” me so I have to be whomever he wants for him to stay?
So I hesitate…
It is exhausting!
I am so tired of living a life full of doubts, fear, and loneliness. I am tired of worrying if someone will like me or even love me.
2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV), says “God gave us a spirit NOT of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
I want to live in this truth!
What about you?
Can you identify with my battle?
So tell me, who are you? Who do you want to be?
I hope you will join me as I embrace the freedom to be me and BE YOU!
Uniquely Yours,
Dianna
